PVR Inox Joins Hands With Isha Yoga Center For Maha Shivratri

India’s leading multiplex series PVR INOX is bringing something special for the viewers this Mahashivratri. PVR Inox has announced its collaboration with Isha to bring the 30th year of Mahashivratri celebrations to the big screen. The nightly mega event will be telecast live from Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore on March 8 from 6 PM till cinema operations. The live screening will be done on more than 50 screens across 35 cities in India. The audience will not only have the privilege of witnessing this sacred event with fellow devotees, but will also receive a specially activated Rudraksha by spiritual leader Sadhguru.

Mahashivratri celebration at Isha Yoga Center will be worth watching. It will include meditation sessions, enlightening talks from Sadhguru, mesmerizing music and dance performances from renowned artists like Shankar Mahadevan, Gurdas Maan, Brodha V and Paradox. Isha’s home band ‘Sounds of Isha’ will also perform along with several other artistes from across India. Mahashivratri is the biggest and important festival among the holy festivals of India. This festival celebrates the grace of Shiva, who is considered to be Adi Guru or the first Guru. According to belief, the yogic tradition originated from Shiva.

Explaining the importance of staying awake the whole night, Sadhguru, founder of Isha Foundation, says, ‘The importance of the day is that there is an upward movement of energy in the human body. Therefore, we want to spend this night awake, aware, keeping our spine straight so that whatever sadhana we are doing, we get a lot of help from nature.
