If reports are to be believed, Dan Stevens has joined hands with Al Pacino for another film. Both have become a part of XYZ Films and director David Middel’s horror movie ‘The Ritual’.
Al Pacino and Dan Stevens have both joined the cast of horror film ‘The Ritual,’ Variety reports. Based on a true story, the film follows two priests. One of them questions his faith (Stevens) and reflects on a troubled past (Pacino). Both must put aside their differences to save a passionate young woman through a difficult and dangerous series.
According to the information, this film is an authentic portrayal of an American woman, Emma Schmidt. Her case remains the most widely documented exorcism in American history. The screenplay of ‘The Ritual’ is written by David Middel and Enrico Natale. XYZ Films is planning to release the horror film theatrically in the year 2025.
On the work front, Al Pacino has several films in the pipeline, including ‘Modi’. The film is a biopic of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani directed by Johnny Depp. Meanwhile, Stevens is currently enjoying the success of ‘Godzilla X-Men: The New Empire’ and ‘Abigail’.
