Read Time:2 Minute, 30 Second

Bollywood Actor Juhi Parmar has expressed displeasure against the use of objectionable words in the film Barbie. He has also shared a note on social media regarding the objectionable scenes shown in the film and the language of the film.

Juhi has also told that she went to see the film with her 10 year old daughter. But, such language has been used in the film that she had to come out of the theater within 15 minutes as she did not want to show such content to her daughter.

Juhi Parmar has written in the note that this film is not suitable for children to watch. She has also said that by including such things in the film, the filmmakers have tarnished the image of Barbie.

Juhi has written in the note- Many of you may not agree with my words today, some may even get angry on hearing this, but today being a parent, I want to share something with you about the film Barbie. Don’t make the mistake I did and please don’t take your kids to see Barbie. After all, why spoil the concept of Barbie for children?

Couldn’t this film be made in such a way that children can watch the film with their entire family. I wish I could erase the memory of this movie from my mind and believe in the concept of the same Barbie that I have been watching since childhood. I wish I could watch this movie with my daughter who is a fan of barbie.

Juhi further wrote – My daughter was also waiting for this film. But, after 10 minutes we came out of the theatre. Some parents were in the theater with their children. I can’t even imagine to what extent the star of the film must have stooped when there were so many objectionable words and references in the very beginning of the film. I’m glad I didn’t watch the full movie.

Apart from this, Shahid Kapoor’s wife Meera Rajput has also given her opinion about Barbie. She said that the songs and dance of the film are not of Bollywood level. She wrote – We often keep saying that Hollywood movies are like this, they are good but Hollywood cannot make songs like Bollywood nor can it perform dance like that.

Singer Sona Mohapatra has also given her opinion about the film. Sona Mohapatra tweeted and wrote – After a long time, I went to watch the film with a lot of heart. But, it was very difficult to sit in the theater and watch Barbie for so long. Along with Terrible Barbie, there were also several real-life Barbies in the theater talking loudly.

Margot Robbie plays Barbie in this film by director Greta Gerwig. Whereas Ryan Gosling has played the role of Kane. The film is performing well in India as well. So far the film has earned Rs 21.15 crore. At the same time, the film has earned Rs 2759 crore at the global box-office.
