The Russo Brothers do not hold superheroes responsible for the studio’s recent circumstances. 2023 was the toughest for Marvel with two flops. These include ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania’ and ‘The Marvels’.
Joe and Anthony Russo, in a recent conversation, said about the current situation at Marvel that it is based on the changing habits of people going to theaters. This is a serious issue not only of Marvel but of Hollywood. He said, ‘I think all this is related to the current circumstances. It’s an interesting time.’ ‘I think we’re in phase one,’ Joe said. People don’t know yet what kind of stories they’ll get going forward. Or what kind of movies they want to watch.
