Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar starrer film ‘OMG 2’ is stuck in the censor board these days. Meanwhile, it is heard that the revising committee of the board has seen the film. According to a report in E-Times, the committee has decided to give the film an A-certificate along with 20 cuts. However, a show-cause notice will also be sent to the producers in this matter. The report also said that the chairperson of the board, Prasoon Joshi, was also present at the screening.

On the other hand, when Dainik Bhaskar talked to the making team of the film, they told that nothing like this has happened. The team says that the revising committee has not seen the film yet. The committee will take a decision after seeing this on Wednesday (July 26).

However, till now no official statement has come out from the makers in this whole matter. In such a situation, it is difficult to guess in which condition the film is now. The surprising thing is that only 16 days are left for the release of the film but it is yet to get the clearance from the board. In such a situation, due to this controversy, the promotional campaign of the film is getting affected.

‘OMG 2’ is slated to release on August 11. Recently the song of the film was also released in which its release date was not mentioned. It is believed that Akshay Kumar will take a final call on the theatrical date of the film, who is on vacation these days.

Actually, the film is based on a bold subject like sex education. In such a situation, the censor board has sent ‘OMG 2’ to the review committee. The Censor Board will decide the fate of the film after the review committee’s reply.

Apart from this, the trailer of OMG 2 is also not released yet. The makers want to release it on July 27 along with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, but the board has not yet given the green signal to either the film or its trailer.

If the clearance is not received from the board by 27th, then the makers are planning to release this trailer by 31st July as well. The film is a sequel to 2012 release Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG’. Akshay played the role of Shri Krishna in that film.
