Bollywood Actor Ishaan Khattar’s film ‘Pippa’ has recently been released on OTT. Ishaan is playing the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta in the film. After netizens praised the film on social media, superstar Kamal Haasan also watched the film and congratulated Pippa’s team. Kamal Haasan said about Ishaan that – It reminded him of himself when he was Ishaan’s age. Apart from Ishaan, actress Mrinal Thakur is also seen in the film.
The story of the film is woven around Captain Balram Singh Mehta of India’s 45th Cavalry Regiment. Captain Balram along with his siblings fought on the East Front during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. More preference has been given to war action scenes in the film. Apart from this, some family emotion scenes have also been shown. The film is titled after the Russian war tank PT-76, which floats on water like an empty can of ghee (pippa).
This film has been directed by Raja Krishna Menon who has previously directed Akshay Kumar starrer Airlift. Ishaan Khattar will be seen in the role of Captain Balram Singh Mehta in the film. Apart from them, Mrinal Thakur, Priyanshu Panuli and Soni Razdan will be seen in important roles.
