The pre-release event of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘Animal’ was organized in Hyderabad on Friday. Apart from the entire team of the film, South superstar Mahesh Babu and filmmaker SS Rajamouli also attended the event as guests.
Apart from all these, politician and Telangana Labor and Employment Minister Malla Reddy were also present here. From the stage at the event, he gave a statement which is creating controversy. Malla Reddy said on stage, ‘Ranbir ji, I want to tell you one thing. In the next 5 years our Telugu people will rule India, Bollywood and Hollywood. Now everyone has to shift to Hyderabad after a year because Mumbai has become old now. Bengaluru traffic jammed. There is only one city in India and that is Hyderabad.
On this occasion, Malla Reddy also praised Telugu directors SS Rajamouli, Dil Raju, Mahesh Babu, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Rashmika Mandanna. Malla Reddy is the chairman of the university where this program was held.
After this statement of Malla Reddy, a debate broke out on social media. Many Telugu film fans expressed embarrassment over this statement of the minister. Also, many users praised Ranbir who was smiling and clapping even after listening to this speech.
One user wrote, ‘Salute to Ranbir that he sat with so much patience.’ While many users said that do not take Malla Reddy’s speech seriously. We Telugu people love Bollywood movies and its artists.
Ranbir’s Animal will release on December 1. The Censor Board has given ‘A’ rating to this 3.5 hour long film. Many actors including Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Trupti Dimri will be seen in the film.
