The makers of Don 3 have shared a promo video of Don 3 after the announcement of the film. Ranveer Singh will replace Shah Rukh Khan in this film. Sharing the video, the makers wrote, ‘The beginning of a new era. #Don3.
Ranveer will be seen in the lead role in this film directed by Farhan Akhtar. The promo video begins with Ranveer’s voice saying, ‘Sher jo soo raha hai, woh jaagega kab? Everyone asks. Tell them that I have woken up again and will soon come in front of you again. What is my strength, what is my courage, then to show. Playing with death is my life. My job is to win. You know which is my name The police of 11 countries are looking for me, but who has caught me. I am Don.
Ranveer Singh’s tremendous look was seen at the end of the video. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment, the film is slated to release in 2025.
Earlier on Tuesday, Farhan Akhtar had announced Don 3 by posting a post on social media. He shared a long note and wrote – In 1978, Salim-Javed created a character. Mr. Bachchan played that character very well. A huge crowd thronged the theaters to watch the film. The name of this character was ‘Don’.
The story of Don was re-imagined in 2006. Shahrukh Khan presented it with great elegance. Being the writer and director, I had a lot of fun making both these films. Working with Shah Rukh Khan in both films will always be close to my heart.
Now the time has come to take forward the legacy of Don. An actor is about to be associated with it, whose talent and versatility I admire. I hope you give him the same love that you have given to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. In 2025, the new era of Dawn will begin.
