Is SRK’s Jawan Can Take An Opening Of ₹ 100 Crores?

Read Time:2 Minute, 59 Second

Experts of North and South have an opinion about Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan. He says that the film can take an opening of 60 crores on the first day in the Hindi belt and 35 to 40 crores from the South region. In this way the film will earn 100 crores on the first day itself.

Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom is the main reason for this. Apart from this, there is also a reason that famous stars of South are working in the film. There is no clash of any big film with Jawan in South. Prabhas’ Salaar is coming on 28 September. Till then the field at the box office is completely empty. Trade pundits believe that this year the biggest hype in the South region is of the Jawan.

Many trade analysts believe that after Bahubali, the popularity of South films increased in the Hindi market. In the same way, a path can be opened for Hindi films in South Industry from Jawan. In the words of Sridhar Pillai, a veteran trade analyst from the South, “If seen, the biggest hype in the South market this year is about the young man. This is the reason why 40 to 50 crores are being sought for the rights of the film for its release in South cinemas.

The distributors here are also agreeing to this amount, because a collection of 35 to 40 crores is possible from the South belt alone on the opening day itself. If the talk of Thalapathy Vijay also being in the film turns out to be true, then sky is the limit as his craze in South is amazing.

Pathan has already prepared a ground for Shahrukh this year while there was no South Indian cast and technicians in that film. From the cameraman in Jawan to the rest of the technical crew is from South.

So, it looks like it is a South Indian picture as well as an actual pan Indian film, with Shah Rukh, Deepika, etc. working with a South team. As a result, the future of this film in South is very bright.

Producer Rohit Shetty said, ‘There is no scope or difference between Bollywood and South. You see, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan were in RRR. Similarly, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt worked in KGF-2. There was a whole 80s era when directors from South were working here in Bollywood. Recently I saw the promo of Jawan, it was amazing. Atlee is a very good director, I watch all his films.

South is not a threat to us at all. It is like a genre for us filmmakers. Just see Meri Singham, Suryavanshi, Golmaal, Simmba, these films are larger than life which has been a trend in the South. People now like such films, so Bollywood directors have to make films like South.

According to trade analyst Atul Mohan, ‘In their era, Amitabh Bachchan and Jitendra have been making actual pan Indian films in association with South makers. His masala films have been huge hits in South. There was a phase in between when our producers started making films targeting the NRI audience. Those films also went on. However, now that the returns from the overseas market have come down since Covid, the trend is towards the South market. ,

Atul further explains, ‘Shahrukh had got the emotional love of the people on Pathan. Jawan has the biggest directors of South. It has taken two and a half years in the making. So there is a lot of anxiety among his fans about the film.
