Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ Earn 6 Crores On The First Day

Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

Bollywood Actor Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Sam Bahadur’ earned Rs 6 crore at the box office on the first day. This film, released on Friday, has proved to be Vicky Kaushal’s biggest opener of this year so far. Although this film clashed with Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’, still ‘Sam Bahadur’ made a decent collection on the first day.

Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in this 2 hour 25 minute film. To support him in the film, Fatima Sana Shaikh was seen as former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Sanya Malhotra was also seen in the role of Sam Bahadur’s wife.

The contribution of high-end multiplexes in big cities was good for ‘Sam Bahadur’. However, there is definitely pressure on the film to perform well during the weekend. The film is expected to earn more than Rs 22 crore on the weekend.

The film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’, released on 2 December, proved to be a superhit. Whereas ‘The Great Indian Family’, released on September 22, could not show anything special. In such a situation, the opening of ‘Sam Bahadur’ has proved to be the biggest opening of the three films of Vicky Kaushal this year. It will be interesting to see whether ‘Sam Bahadur’ will be able to break Vicky’s record of ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’.
