After the death of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala, his fourth song ‘Chorni’ will be released next week. Rapper Divine has given this information on Instagram. He wrote- “Dil se..ye special song hai mere liye.” He has also shared his photo with Musewala.
After the murder, Sidhu Moosewala’s songs SYL, Vaar and Mera Naan have come among the fans. After getting into controversies, the SYL song was banned by the government.
Moosewala’s third song ‘Mera Naan’ was launched on 7th April 2023. Which got 20 lakh views in an hour and 7 lakh people liked the song and 1.5 lakh comments came. The song featured lyrics by Nigerian rapper Burna Boy. Musewala’s family says that 40 to 45 of his songs are pending for Moosewala, which will be gradually brought among his fans.
The song SYL was released on 23 June after the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. In which Moosewala raised the water issue of Punjab. The song got 27 million views in 72 hours. After which this song was banned in India. The SYL issue is still creating tension between Punjab and Haryana.
After this song, Balwinder Singh Jatana also came in the limelight. Jatana shot dead two officers engaged in the work of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal between Punjab and Haryana in Chandigarh.
