After giving an action film like ‘Bloody Daddy’, now Shahid Kapoor will be seen romancing in his next film. Kriti Sanon will be opposite Shahid in this film. The film is going to release on 7th December.
Basically the film is a love story between the characters of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Along with this, the makers have also created a family drama in it. Actors like Dharmendra, Rakesh Bedi and Dimple Kapadia will play important roles in this family drama.
In the film, Shahid is in the role of a young man who takes care of his ancestral business. At the same time, Kriti Sanon is in the role of a computer teacher. Dimple Kapadia has become his mother. Rakesh Bedi is in the role of Shahid’s father.
Dharmendra’s character is that of Shahid’s grandfather. He does not have a cameo in the film. Dharmendra will also be seen in the role of Ranveer Singh’s grandfather in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which is going to release this month.
The film is set in Rajasthan. The characters of both Shahid and Kriti belong to the high class. Makers have shown conflicts of that category in the story. Along with this, the love of grandfather and grandson and generation gap have also been introduced in the film.
The film was shot in the freezing cold of Rajasthan. During this, along with Shahid, veteran actors like Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia and Rakesh Bedi also shot in the night shift. During this, some junior artists definitely fell ill but Dharmendra and other artists remained firm.
The shooting of the film has been completed in April. These days the work on its post production is going on. It is set to release in the first week of December this year. This is Shahid’s first film with producer Dinesh Vijan. These days Shahid is spending holidays with the family. After returning from there, he will start shooting for his next action film. It is jointly produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios.
