Bollywood Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has recently announced his next film ‘Love and War’. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will be seen together for the first time in the film. Now according to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Ranbir has put some conditions before Bhansali to work on this film. He will give fixed working hours and 270 days for the shooting of this film.
A source associated with the film said, ‘Bhansali is a big fan of Ranbir’s work. He wanted to work with Ranbir for a long time. Earlier, he had offered ‘Baiju Bawra’ to the actor but Ranbir was not excited about that musical period drama. Now when Bhansali offered ‘Love and War’ to the actor, Ranbir agreed to come on board with wife Alia Bhatt.
Sources associated with the film also told that Ranbir is working on this film on his own terms and conditions. The source further said, ‘Ranbir’s conditions in the contract are very specific. Ranbir has asked Bhansali to shoot as per the timeline. The makers have also promised that they will take the film on the floors by November this year and will complete its shooting by July next year. Ranbir will start his other work commitments from August next year.
Apart from this, Ranbir has also put a condition in the contract that he will work only in fixed working hours. He will give approximately 270 days time to this film. The last condition is that all the departments on the set will work with proper discipline.
Earlier, Ranbir’s experience of working with Bhansali was not good. In an interview, the actor had said that when he was assisting Bhansali on the sets of the film ‘Black’, the director used to abuse him, beat him and make him stand on his knees for hours.
If sources are to be believed, Alia Bhatt has a special contribution in this contract between Ranbir and Bhansali. Alia has brought both of them together and during the meeting, she had asked both of them to present their terms and conditions to each other.
