The controversy over the film ‘Adipurush’ is not taking its name. On Sunday, the Municipal Corporation of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, has ordered a ban on Hindi films in Kathmandu due to the controversy that started on this film. On the other hand, the makers of this film have decided to change the dialogue of the film in view of the increasing opposition on its controversial dialogue. On the second day, there was also a drop of 40% in the film’s earnings.

On Sunday, the Kathmandu mayor ordered all movie theaters located in the valley not to release any Hindi film there from Monday. While making an official announcement about this, he has also shared a tweet. Along with this, letters related to this have also been sent to all the theatres.

All this controversy has happened in the film on calling Sita the daughter of India. The Nepalese Censor Board objected to this. He said that Sita ji was not born in India but in Janakpur, Nepal.
However, after this controversy, the makers removed that dialogue from the film, after which the film was allowed to release there, but the debate about Sita’s birthplace continues. Some people believe that Sita was not born in Nepal but in Sitamarhi located in Bihar.

On the other hand, the controversies related to the film are not affecting the collection of the film. On the second day, the film did a worldwide collection of 100 crores. If seen worldwide, this film earned Rs 240 crores in two days and took entry in 200 crores club. However, the worldwide collection of the film was 140 crores on the first day. In such a situation, there has been a 40% drop in the collection of the film on the second day.

Earlier, the writer of the film Manoj Muntashir had informed by tweeting that the controversial dialogues of Adipurush will be changed. Muntashir shared a long post saying, ‘I and the producer-director of the film have decided that we will revise some of the dialogues which are hurting you, and will be included in the film this week.’
A petition has also been filed in the Delhi High Court to ban this film. In this, there has been a demand to remove many scenes, dialogues and characters of the film.
