Pan India Star Kamal Haasan’s career is once again on the uplift after the success of ‘Vikram’. Kamal has recently joined the cast of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan starrer film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Apart from this, he will also be seen in Shankar’s directorial film ‘Indian 2’.
The latest update related to this film is that Netflix has bought its digital rights for around Rs 200 crores. These rights belong to all languages. A source related to the development told E Times, “Shankar has done a wonderful job in Indian 2. Those who have seen portions of the film are very happy with the result.
If reports are to be believed then this film will start from where its first part ended. This means that Kamal’s character in Indian 2 will be of a 90-year-old man. In the film, the make-up artist has worked hard to give this look to Kamal. For this, it took Kamal 4 hours to get the make-up done while it took two hours to remove it.
‘Indian 2’ is a sequel to Kamal’s own film ‘Hindustani’ (Indian) released in 1996. Kamal is so pleased with director Shankar’s work in the film’s sequel that he gifted the director a watch worth Rs 8 lakh in June.
