Cillian Murphy Takes 6 Months To Became Scientist Robert Oppenheimer

The acting of actor Cillian Murphy, who played the lead role in the Hollywood film Oppenheimer, is being praised. In the film, Cillian plays the role of scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer. The actor had prepared for this role in just 6 months.

It was reported that he had read the Bhagavad Gita for its preparation. Now it is being heard that Cillian also followed a strict diet for this role. A video is viral on social media in which Murphy recounts how he prepared for the complicated role of Oppenheimer.

The actor told, ‘My approach was that I could do maximum research for this role. To prepare for this character, I read the Bhagavad Gita, as Oppenheimer also read the Bhagavad Gita. Murphy continued, “There is a lot of archival footage of Oppenheimer that you can access. Obviously I read books based on them but the most important resource for me was the script itself. I have worked on this. I had six months of work to prepare for this role before starting the shooting of the film.

For the film, Murphy rejected all the dinner invitations he received for 6 months in order to lose his weight. He was seen eating only almonds on the set. Meanwhile, the film continues to earn handsomely in the country. It has earned Rs 49 crore on the first weekend. In this way, it is earning better and faster than Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible-7.

Apart from actor Cillian Murphy, actors like Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh and Robert Downey Jr are also playing important roles in this film directed by Christopher Nolan.
