Pan India Star Prabhas’s film Kalki 2898 AD is continuously in the headlines these days. Stars like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are also going to be seen in this film directed by Nag Ashwin. The audience is very excited to see these superstars together on the big screen.
There has been a lot of buzz among the people about this film. Meanwhile, a big information has come to light regarding the OTT rights of the film. According to media reports, the digital rights of the Hindi version of the film have been sold for Rs 175 crore. If the claims of the reports are to be believed, many OTT platforms pushed for this, but in the end the win went to Netflix.
Earlier, several reports had claimed that Prime Video had acquired the digital rights of the South Indian versions of the film. It was discussed that the OTT platform has bought these rights for Rs 150 crore.
If the claims made in the reports prove to be true then it will be one of the biggest digital deals of Indian cinema. Kalki 2898 AD is a science fiction film, in which people will get to see action packed with spectacular VFX along with a powerful story. It will be released pan India in multiple languages. Recently, actor Kamal Haasan had revealed that he will be seen in a cameo role in this film.
Talking about work front, Prabhas was recently seen in Salaar. Directed by Prashant Neel, this film did well at the ticket window. Talking about his upcoming projects, he will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and Maruthi’s film Raja Saheb.
