IMDB has released a list of 50 web series from 2018 to 2023. The most popular series in these five years has got a place in this list. In 2018, I series Sacred Games got the top position. Whereas Mirzapur, which came in 2018 itself, has got the second position.
In the 2020 series Scam 1992 got the third rank while Aspirants and Kota Factory got the fourth and fifth rank. This data is taken on the basis of page views of IMDB users. Sacred Games co-producer Vikramaditya Motwane said that it is an honor to see Sacred Games on top of this list.
Yamini Patodia, head of IMDB India, said that with the rise of streaming options in the country, the trend of people towards web series is increasing. With the arrival of this list, audiences around the world will get a chance to know about the Indian web series. The special thing is that the top-2 series of this list (Sacred Games and Mirzapur) have completed their five years.
And with 9.2, the aspirants got the second position. At number three is Gullak which got a rating of 9.1 out of 10. TVF Pitchers also got a 9.1 rating. At the same time, NCR Days has also got the same rating.
