Read Time:1 Minute, 22 Second

The trailer of Matt Reeves’ The Batman spin-off series ‘The Penguin’ has been released. Colin Farrell is reprising his role as a nightclub owner in the action series. Created by The Batman director Matt Reeves, the trailer takes a look at Oswald “Penguin” Cobblepot, who will be seen seeking revenge in the series.

Colin Farrell plays the Penguin, with Cristin Milioti reprising his role as The Batman. In the trailer, Pharrell seems ready to entertain the audience again with his villainous avatar. Farrell is heard saying, “When I was a kid, there was a gangster, real old school type – Rex Calabrese; That was a big thing. He helped people. He saw you on the street, he’ll call you.”

Penguin then continues, “When I was 14, he had a heart attack and died while holding a cigar. In my neighborhood, they take out a parade in his honor and it was not an imagination, but it was a gesture. A display of love, what it meant. Can you imagine being remembered like this?”

The trailer is filled with villainous scenes of explosions before ending with the tagline, “Max Original.” Although the series has not yet set a specific release date, it is expected to arrive in late 2024. The cast of The Penguins includes Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni, Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone and Michael Kelly as Johnny Vitti. More roles and other cast members are yet to be revealed.
