Bollywood Director Anurag Kashyap’s film Kennedy received a standing ovation for 7 minutes at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was screened in the Midnight Screening category at The Grand Lumière Theater at 12:15 a.m. local time in France. After the screening of the film, the audience stood up and gave a standing ovation to the film for 7 minutes.

During this, Anurag Kashyap’s friend Vikramaditya Motwane was also present. At the same time, actors Rahul Bhatt, Sunny Leone, Shariq Patel, Ranjan Singh, Kabir Ahuja, Bhumika Tiwari, Neeraj Joshi, Ashima Awasthi also appeared with Anurag Kashyap in the film festival.

The story of the film is based on a police officer who suffers from insomnia and is in search of himself between different countries. Talking to the media about the screening of his film, Anurag said – It is a special thing to be able to present your film in front of the world at a film festival like Cannes. To see my film screening at The Grand Lumiere Theater is a lifetime achievement for me.

Anurag further said – Kennedy is a very special film for me. I feel a personal connection with this film. I have put my whole heart and soul into making this film. The audience gave the film a standing ovation of 7 minutes. I am thankful to him for this.

At the same time, actor Rahul Bhatt said at the screening of the film that Kennedy got love for his hard work. The film keeps you glued to the screen the whole time. I am thankful to everyone, especially Anurag who has worked so hard, our whole team has worked hard and we have reached the coveted red carpet of Cannes today.
