Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has completed 40 years in the Bollywood industry. On this occasion, Anil shared a clip of his debut film ‘Woh Saat Din’ on social media. Along with this, he also shared an emotional note.
Sharing this, Anil wrote in the caption, ‘Today I have completed 40 years as an actor and entertainer. 40 years of being accepted and loved by the audience. It is said that when you are doing something that you love, time passes by very fast. It comes as no surprise to me that my 4 decades in the industry flew by in the blink of an eye. I know this is what I am made for and this is what I have to do.
“Many people helped me to reach this point. I would especially like to thank my Bapu Sahab, my brother Boney Kapu and my father Surinder Kapoor for believing in me and giving me the first chance.
“I will also be eternally grateful to Naseeruddin Shah and Padmini Kolhapure who welcomed a newcomer to the industry. Whatever I am today, the credit goes to the love and acceptance I got from these veterans and all of you.
In the end, Anil wrote, ‘On the occasion of completion of these 40 years, I am coming to you in two very special avatars with ‘The Night Manager Part 2’ and ‘Animal’. Hope you will love and support me like you have always done.
His elder brother Boney Kapoor also commented extensively on this post of Anil. Boney wrote, ‘You have been the best brother to me, Reena and Sanjay, the best son to our parents, the best husband to Sunita and the best father to Sonam, Rhea, Harsh and Anand. I know you will be the best grandfather for Vayu too.
Baeni further wrote, ‘It is your hard work, talent and honesty that has given you super stardom for 40 years. I am sure it will last for at least a hundred years. Apart from Boney, several actors including Juhi Chawla, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan also commented on Anil’s post.
