Before her death, late actress Sridevi wanted to convert her bungalow located on the seashore in Chennai into a hotel, but her wish could not be fulfilled. Now the unfulfilled wish of the actress is being fulfilled by a rental company and her daughter Janhvi Kapoor. This bungalow in Chennai was bought by Sridevi after her marriage with producer Boney Kapoor. Now this bungalow will be given to people for free stay.
During the ceremony, Janhvi Kapoor remembered the old days spent with her family. She said, ‘I remember we have celebrated many birthdays of mother, my birthday, father’s birthday here. We could not spend that much time here because the house had to be renovated. Mother wanted to convert it into a hotel.
No money will be charged for staying in this bungalow of Sridevi, whereas the rental company said that the price will have to be paid to stay in other prestigious houses. However, the company claims that for this people will have to pay a lower price and will have to book it in advance. People will have to apply to stay as guests in Sridevi’s bungalow. They will be selected on the basis of some inputs, after which they will get a golden ticket.
