Airport Staff Misbehaved With Choreographer Salman

Read Time:1 Minute, 31 Second

Dancer and choreographer Salman Yusuf Khan has been manhandled at the Bangalore airport. He himself gave this information through his social media. Salman says that when he came to the airport to go to Dubai, the staff there forced him to speak in Kannada during checking.

Salman says that he spoke a little in Kannada language, then the airport staff started misbehaving with him and said that you and your father were born in Bangalore but do not know Kannada language?

Salman shared this whole incident while making a video. He said, ‘I told the officer that I was definitely born in Bangalore, but that does not mean that I know this language (Kannada). I have never studied Kannada language. I have done my schooling from Saudi, whatever little Kannada I know is because of my friends. Salman further said, the officer told me that you cannot speak Kannada, so I doubt you. I said in reply that I do know Hindi, the official language of my country.

‘I told him that as long as there are illiterate people like you in this country, this country will never progress. Hearing this, he lowered his head and started mumbling something. I have complained about this incident to other airport officials, but no one seems to be guiding me. It is strange that I have always brought laurels to my city, have also won awards at the national level, but today I have to prove myself in front of these illiterate people.

Salman Yusuf Khan is a well known choreographer/dancer of the country. He became popular after winning the first season of Dance India Dance. He worked in Remo D’Souza’s film ABCD. Apart from this, he was seen in Street Dancer 3D with Varun Dhawan. He is also seen hosting many dance shows on TV.
