A few days before the Oscar Awards 2023, RRR is set to be re-released in Los Angeles, USA. In a theater here, more than 1600 tickets for the film have been sold in a few hours. The entire theater has become housefull.
Making its official announcement, the makers of the film have said that on March 2, Los Angeles will witness the world’s biggest screening. According to information, the film’s lead actor Ramcharan and director SS Rajamouli will also attend the screening.
The social media handle of the film RRR tweeted, ‘Tomorrow Los Angeles will witness the world’s largest screening. The show with 1647 seats is already housefull. SS Rajamouli, M Keeravani and Ramcharan will answer your questions.
There will be a stage performance of RRR’s song Natu-Natu in the Oscar Award 2023 ceremony. Singer Rahul Sipligunj and Kaal Bhairav will perform it live. This is a big achievement because if an Indian song plays on a platform like Oscars, the whole world will dance to its tune.
Please tell that Natu-Natu has been nominated for Oscar. In this category, Natu-Natu will compete with Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Mitsky, David Byrne and Diane Warren. Rihanna will also perform on her song (Lift Me Up).
The Oscar Awards Ceremony will begin on March 13 at 5:30 Indian time. This time Oscar is also special because RRR’s song Natu-Natu has been included in the category of Best Original Song. Now it will be interesting to see whether this song wins the award or not.
Sometime back, the song Natu-Natu had also won the Best Song category award at the Golden Globe Awards. While RRR won Best Foreign Language Film and Natu-Natu won Best Song at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
The Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards were held on the night of 24 February, in which RRR won awards in a total of 4 categories. The Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer won trophies in the Best Action Film, Best International Feature, Best Original Song and Best Stunt categories.
RRR had taken a worldwide collection of more than 1200 crores. Still the film continues to earn in many parts of the world. Re-released in several cities in Japan and the US. In America, the film has collected more than Rs 110.7 crore, breaking the record.
In UAE also, the film has done a business of Rs 40 crores. SS Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt and Shreya Saran appeared in the lead roles in this pan India film directed by Rajamouli. Ajay Devgan also did a cameo in the film. The film was released in theaters on 25 March 2022.
