A big update related to the sequel of Oscar winning film ‘RRR’ has come out. According to a report, these days the work on the script of the sequel of this film is going on. Its story can be set in Africa. This information has been given by Vijayendra Prasad, father of the film’s writer and director SS Rajamouli.
He said that he is currently writing the script of the film after which he will share it with Rajamouli. If all goes well, the pre-production work of this film will start in 2025. Currently, Rajamouli is busy with his next film SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, writer Prasad said, “It may or may not be a sequel. After the release of this film in 2022, I shared the idea of its sequel with my son. The story is set in Africa and picks up from where it left off with Seetha Rama Raju (Ramcharan) and Komaram Bheem (NTR Jr.).
Rajamouli liked the idea and asked him to develop a complete script. Vijayendra further said, ‘There is no discussion on this film between us as of now because Rajamouli is busy with his next film with Mahesh Babu. Until he completes this film. Will not work on another film.
Rajamouli is currently working on the film ‘SSMB29’ with Mahesh Babu. The post production work of this film will start in 2024. It is likely to be released by 2025. In such a situation, it is possible that Rajamouli will start the pre-production work of RRR in 2025.
RRR released in 2022 is one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema. The film’s song Natu-Natu has also been awarded the Oscar Award.
