The trailer of Sushmita Sen’s much awaited web series ‘Tali’ has been released today. In this series, Sushmita will play the role of transgender activist Mr. Gauri Sawant. Sharing the trailer on her Instagram, Sushmita wrote in the caption, ‘Gauri has arrived. Taking the story of our self-respect, respect and freedom. #Taali – Won’t play, will play’.
The story of the series is about the fight for equality of the third gender. Sushmita is playing the character of a transgender who travels from Ganesh to Gauri. The trailer begins with a boy who aspires to be a mother. Hearing this, his school friends and teachers all start making fun of him.
As the video progresses, we can see her journey and struggle of becoming transgender. Sushmita Sen will surprise you with her performance. As soon as the trailer came out, fans are praising Sushmita’s character fiercely.
Strong acting was seen in the role of Sushmita transgender in the video. Let me tell you, this series will be released on the OTT platform Jio Cinema on August 15, on the occasion of Independence Day. The series is directed by National Film Award winning director Ravi Jadhav.
