According to the report of E-Times, he has been brought back to Mumbai after a slight improvement in his condition.

In 2017, during the shooting of Raees, he had injured his knee and face, after which he had to undergo minor surgery. In 2013, after the shooting of the film Chennai Express was over, he had undergone 8 surgeries. In 2009 too, he had surgery on his left shoulder following an injury.
