Bollywood Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s next film is ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’. In the film’s trailer, 49-year-old Nawaz was seen kissing his 21-year-old co-actress Avneet Kaur. Since then he is being trolled a lot. Now defending himself on this lip-lock scene, Nawaz has given a statement. In an interview, he said that there is no romance left in the young generation and it has become null.
In an interview given to India Today, Nawaz said, ‘Romance has no age. It is ageless but there is no such thing as romance left in today’s young generation. This is the reason why celebs like Shah Rukh Khan are doing romantic roles even today.
Nawaz further said that today’s generation is living a life of social media. Be it loving someone or breaking up with someone. Young generation does all this online only. There is no reason behind this. Only those who have lived romance know how to romance.
Nawazuddin said, ‘We are from that era when romance used to mean something else. We were in love for years. Today Shah Rukh Khan has to do romantic roles because the young generation is Nalli. They don’t know anything about romance.
On the work front, Nawaz was recently seen in ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ opposite Neha Sharma. He currently has films like ‘Haddi’ and ‘Noorani Chehre’. On the other hand, Tiku Weds Sheru is the Bollywood debut film of Avneet Kaur. It will release on OTT on 23 June.
