Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah says he is not interested in watching a film like The Kerala Story. He says that films like Mob and Rumor flopped but The Kerala Story became a super hit. According to Naseeruddin, nowadays some films are being used for propaganda and propaganda.
He also said that in today’s time it has become fashionable to hate Muslims. Hatred towards Muslims is being cleverly instilled in people. The actor said that although it is a secular democratic country, religion is talked about everywhere. The Election Commission also does not say anything to those leaders who ask for votes in the name of religion.
Naseeruddin Shah while talking to Indian Express said that artists have to come forward to fight propaganda and hatred. They have to raise their voice. Naseer was asked what should actors do in such times. In response, he said that no work should be done to please someone.
