Kangana Ranaut Came Into Action After She Got Ticket

Read Time:1 Minute, 55 Second

Bollywood Actress Kangana Ranaut has been given ticket by BJP from Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. The actress is all set to start her political innings. Kangana took a dig at Congress as soon as she got the ticket. Kangana has said that Congress has always been a scary party for me. She said that the opposition party represents what she has fought against for a long time in her film career.

Kangana Ranaut targeted Congress and said, ‘Congress has always been a scary party for me. Nepotism in the party has been extremely problematic for me because I was the target of the same system in my (film) industry. I had openly condemned it, I had fought against it. Something that was exploiting me… nepotism, groupism, dynastic politics… I hate this party.

When Kangana Ranaut was asked to describe the Gandhi siblings in one line, the ‘Queen’ star described both of them as Nepo kids. She said, ‘They are strange as if they have landed from Mars.’ 37-year-old Kangana Ranaut said that she has supported BJP wholeheartedly. Kangana added, ‘Whether I am a party member or not, I have always fought for the interests of the party. I have left no stone unturned. I always feel that my natural alignment and ideology is with a nationalist government.

Days after Kangana Ranaut was made the BJP candidate from Mandi, the Congress created a storm with its leaders Supriya Shrinet and HS Ahir posting derogatory comments about the actress and her constituency on the social media handles of their leaders. In her defence, Shrinate on Monday said that several people had access to her Facebook and Instagram accounts and one of them had made inappropriate posts. She also said that she has removed the post and will take action against parody accounts using her name.

Kangana Ranaut also said that it is ironic that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who joined politics with the India Against Corruption campaign, is currently in jail on corruption charges. When asked about his political debut, he said he was worried. Kangana added, ‘It is a complete lifestyle change. This is nerve-wracking. This is a new role. I want to do it well. I want to connect more with the real one.
