The year 2023 belongs to Shahrukh Khan. After giving two all time blockbusters in ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’, his third film of the year ‘Dunki’ is ready for release, it is expected that it will also be a blockbuster like the other two films. The audience is eagerly waiting for the release of the film. This is Shahrukh Khan’s first collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani. On his 58th birthday, Shahrukh released the first teaser of the film Dunki, which has become the most viewed teaser of all time with more than 42 million views. While sharing the drop video, he had written, “The story of simple and real people trying to fulfill their dreams and desires. Of friendship, love and living together… of being in a relationship called home. A heart-touching story from a heart-touching storyteller. It’s an honor to be a part of this journey and I hope you all join us. Donkey Drop 1 has arrived.
A day before the release of Drop, news came that the makers of the film had got two teasers certified by the CBFC board. Both teasers received a U certificate, one of which was released on King Khan’s birthday. Now news has come that not two teasers of the film, but four teasers will be released.
According to reports, four more drops (teasers) of the film are coming, which will be released before the release of the film. It is being said that three of those four drops have got U/A certificate. The teaser of Dunki is also being linked to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3.
It is being claimed that this is a new way of promoting the film, with Shah Rukh and Rajkumar Hirani being in perfect sync on how they want to unfold the story and its characters in front of the audience. Through the drop, gradually the producers want to create tremendous excitement among the audience for the film.
‘Dunki’ is set to release on December 22 in India and December 21 worldwide. Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani also play important roles in the film. It will also clash with Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire’ on December 22.
