She said- ‘At that time I refused to do this film, because as an actor I was not ready for such stories at that time. I should do the whole story alone, could not understand. At that time I felt that I might not be able to do it. Apart from this, some things were told about the script, which is not being understood. The director waited for me for three years to fix the script. He used to come to me every year and say- ‘Now you tell me when you have time’. I used to say every time that I do not understand.
Was doing a film after three years, till then the director connected a friend of a close friend of mine with this film. The director told my friend to try talking to Nusrat once. I talked to Nusrat twice, but she refused. My friend came and told me that things have changed and we have become a very good team. Read it again. Till now I had done the films ‘Chhori’ and ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’. I believed in myself and the maker. It felt like we could make something good together. This is how I got involved.
I am playing the character of Jyoti. She comes from Amritsar. She lives there with her mother and niece. She has lost her brother-in-law. She is the only one working at home. She looks for an opportunity to go abroad, where she will get such a job, which will remove all the problems from home. As soon as she gets a job, she goes to Mosul. Everything goes on there normally, but unfortunatly, while working there, there is an attack of terrorism.
