Talking about only PVR and INOX, a total of more than 2 lakh 22 thousand tickets have been sold on the first day. Talking about the Hindi version, Rs 12 crore has come from advance booking only. According to this, in the Hindi version, the film can do a first day collection of Rs 30 crores.
Tremendous craze is being seen regarding the film. Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis congratulated the people associated with the film in a tweet in support of it. Devendra Fadnavis tweeted and wrote – May Lord Shri Ram bless the film Adipurush, made on the life of Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shri Ram. I congratulate the director, producer and all the members associated with team Adipurush for the film’s chartbuster.
Taran Adarsh presented a figure on the advance booking of the film. He told that till 11 am on Thursday, 4 lakh, 79 thousand 811 (PVR and INOX) tickets of the film have been sold for the first weekend. The thing to note is that it does not have the figures of CINEPOLIS. One more thing is that it does not even have numbers for single screens.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Adipurush is going to be the second biggest opener of the year after Pathan. Looking at the initial trends, the film can collect Rs 25 to 30 crores (Hindi version) on the first day. The film is releasing on 6200 screens. A big impact of this will also be seen in earnings.
The biggest hit film of 2022, RRR has been overtaken by Adipurush in terms of advance booking. Where RRR collected Rs 7 crore from advance booking on the first day. Whereas Adipurush has reached the figure of Rs 12 crores.
The governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have given permission to increase the tickets by Rs 50, giving relief to the exhibitors. The rate of movie tickets cannot be increased arbitrarily in the states of the South as compared to the North.
Thousands of tickets were bought as a promotional tool and distributed among the helpless. But trade analyst Manobal Vijay Balan says that even if the producer buys 1.5 lakh tickets, its revenue will be around 3 crores. This figure is very less according to a megabyte film of Rs 500 crore.
