‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, which went off air in the last week of July, may return to the small screen next year. According to people close to the show, Kapil and his team wanted to take a break of only 3 months and return by the end of this year. However, Kapil’s new project has spoiled his plan.
Sources close to the show say, “When Kapil decided to take a break from the show, he wanted this break only for 3 months. During that time, Kapil was busy with his international tour. Kapil’s professional commitments were taken care of. The channel had asked him to take a break of 3 months and return to the show in the month of November. However, in the meantime, Kapil shocked the makers by signing a new project.
He further explains, ‘Kapil has signed a comedy chat show with Netflix which will run for about 3 months. According to the contract of Netflix, Kapil cannot be a part of any other TV show other than theirs. Keeping in mind this long innings of Kapil with Netflix, the channel is now thinking of making a comeback of the show in the month of March next year. Let us tell you, the last episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ will be telecast on 23 July 2023. it was done.’
Talking about the association of Kapil Sharma and Netflix, Kapil is working on a comedy chat show for this platform which will include big names from different fields. According to the initial planning, the makers will telecast 15 episodes.
