Recently, Ameesha Patel has said that she got offers for films like Chalte Chalte, Tere Naam and Munna Bhai MBBS. She said that due to busy schedule and some personal reasons, she had turned down the offers of these films. Ameesha gave this information while talking to Itimes. Ameesha Patel made her debut with Hrithik Roshan in the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.. After this, Ameesha appeared in Gadar opposite Sunny Deol.
When Ameesha was asked whether she does not regret turning down these films now, she said – I have rejected offers from many films. There were also offers for films like Chalte Chalte with Shahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt’s Munna Bhai MBBS, Salman Khan starrer film Tere Naam but at that time I did not say yes due to busy schedule. I was busy, so I don’t have much regret now. Ameesha said that she had given commitments to other projects earlier as well, so she had to reject these offers.
Rani Mukherjee worked with Shah Rukh Khan in the film Chalte Chalte (2003). Whereas, Sanjay Dutt was accompanied by Gracy Singh in Munnabhai MBBS (2003). Gracy made her debut with Aamir Khan’s film Lagaan. Bhumika Chawla was in the lead role opposite Salman Khan in the film Tere Naam (2003). Ameesha Patel meanwhile worked with Bobby Deol in Humraaj. This film came in 2002. Apart from this, Ameesha also appeared in Mangal Pandey released in 2005.
In 2007, Amisha was seen in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd alongside Kay Kay Menon and Shabana Azmi. After this, in 2008, Ameesha appeared in a cameo role in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic alongside Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee.
Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has become the second highest grossing Hindi film of this year. The film has earned around 308 crores in just 7 days after its release. Amisha Patel has said in an interview that she wants to do a sequel to the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai… with Hrithik Roshan.
