Reality Show Bigg Boss OTT Season-2 has been watched by a record number of people this time. The finale got 7.2 million views while 2.3 million people watched it live. Jio Cinema has issued a statement, according to which, 240 crore views have been received during the entire season, while 540 crore votes have been cast. It has also been said that after IPL no live stream event got as many views as Bigg Boss OTT-2 Finale got.
According to the Hindustan Times report, 25 crore votes were received during the finale within just 15 minutes. The voting line was opened to choose the winner between Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav. Elvish got more votes than Abhishek and became the winner of the show.
By the way, during IPL the viewership is in crores. Many times we have seen that in any match, 30 million people are watching the live match. The numbers of Bigg Boss OTT-2 are also quite impressive.
Jio Cinema claims that no entertainment live show has got as many views as Bigg Boss OTT-2. Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Gujarat, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh saw the maximum number of people watching the show.
Elvish Yadav is the first contestant in the history of Bigg Boss to win the show by taking a wild card entry. After spending almost 40 days in the house, he became the winner of the show. He received Rs 25 lakh cash and a gleaming trophy from Bigg Boss.
