Bollywood Director Karan Johar’s comeback film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is doing well at the box office in its third week as well. The film has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide. The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer film has collected Rs 20 crore in the third week. The film which released on 28th July is also doing amazing collections in the cinema halls between the recent releases ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘OMG 2’.
The film was released in around 3500 screens on the first day with 25 to 30 per cent occupancy. It had earned 11 crores on the opening day but by the first weekend it had done a business of 46 crores. It performed well in the second week as well and now in the third week it has earned Rs 20 crores between films like ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘OMG 2’. The film earned Rs 2.35 crore on the day Gadar 2 and OMG 2 released. And on August 15, the film collected Rs 3.54 crore.
