The teaser of Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer film Mission Raniganj has been released. The film is based on the rescue operation of 65 miners trapped in Raniganj Coalfields in 1989. Akshay Kumar is playing the role of engineer Jaswant Singh Gill in the film. The film will be released in theaters on 6 October. Tinnu Suresh Desai is the director of the film.
In the teaser of the film, Akshay Kumar is seen trying to save people while mining. Due to sudden heavy rains, these people get trapped in the black mine. Most people think that all these people would not have survived. Meanwhile, engineer Jaswant Singh comes forward to rescue the people trapped in the mine. Jaswant Singh believes that if even one of these 65 people is alive, efforts should be made to save him.

In the teaser, Akshay Kumar is seen wearing a cotton shirt with glasses and a turban. Akshay is once again playing a visible character after almost 4 years. Earlier, Akshay Kumar also played the role of a Sikh in the 2019 film Kesari. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan and Dibyendu Bhattacharya will also be seen in the film.
