Bollywood Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who has been active in Bollywood for over two decades, has been constantly experimenting with his characters in recent times. His gray shade was also seen in ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows’.

Now his film ‘Ghoomar’ is coming. It is directed by R Balki. Abhishek is in the role of a cricket coach in the film. In a special conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Abhishek talked about his role and the journey of the film.

Have you ever thought of making six pack abs?
“If there is a demand for a character, I will make six pack abs. Jai Dixit was a police officer in Dhoom. He had to look fit, but he was not the type to take off his shirt and flaunt six pack abs. I get upset when six pack abs Looks like an obsession.

You see Aamir, he built his body in Dhoom 3 but he looked fatty in one part of Dangal. New kids think that if they make six pack abs, they will become an actor. Hey brother, pay attention to the language. Focus on acting skills. It makes people actors, not the body.”

Why did you take a break of three years after Housefull 3 when you had given many hits that year?
“Because at that time everything was happening very easily. Films were going on. I was getting good remuneration. But creatively I was not getting the challenge. In a couple of years everyone would understand that he was not interested in his work. So I took a break from work. People should have felt that Abhishek is a good actor. He works with all his heart.”

How much do you see the sports economy of the country growing? Ever thought of buying an IPL team?
“IPL is the richest league in the world. Pro Kabaddi League is the second most watched sporting event in India. Football’s ISL has also shown that sports is no longer just entertainment. It is a good career option.

In earlier times only 11 people had a chance to play for the country. If you don’t get there, you will be able to play only Ranji. But today there are many opportunities in cricket alone. The same is true in Kabaddi and other sports as well.

Would like to do someone’s biopic?
Don’t know whether that age would suit me or not, but given a chance, I would have loved to do a biopic on Yuvraj Singh. His journey and the fight back is very inspiring.

You played the role of a ferocious villain in Bhola, when can part-2 come?
“Only Ajay Devgan will be able to tell on that issue. He is the producer and director of the film. He is like my elder brother. He is also my neighbor. I cannot refuse him. One evening I got a call. He said that a film Is.

In ‘Ghoomar’ your father Amitabh Bachchan is also in the film?
Yes. Dad has a cameo in it. He has become a commentator in the film. But unfortunately we don’t have any scenes together.
