Janhvi Kapoor is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Mahi’. Rajkumar Rao will also be seen with her in this. In a recent interview, Janhvi Kapoor narrated stories related to her film ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and also shared the experience of working with Pankaj Tripathi.
Janhvi Kapoor said that she wanted to do a film with Pankaj Tripathi. Pankaj was included in his wish list. She told that she is a big fan of Pankaj. She used to behave like a crazy girl on the sets of the film ‘Gunjan Saxena’. Actually, she was asked this question that which is the actor with whom Jhanvi wanted to work. In response to this, Jhanvi immediately took the name of Pankaj Tripathi.
‘Gunjan Saxena’ was released in the year 2020. In this, Jhanvi played the role of a pilot, who also participates in the Kargil war. Janhvi Kapoor tells in the interview that she had also prayed for Pankaj Tripathi to agree to do this film. Janhvi told that for this she had stopped eating non-veg for about 10 to 12 days.
‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ is ready for release on May 31. This film is based on cricket, in which Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen playing cricket. Janhvi Kapoor has worked hard for the film. Many videos of her cricket training have surfaced, in which she is seen sweating. The film is directed by Sharan Sharma. ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ was also directed by Sharan.
