There were reports that the name of Karthik’s ‘Aashiqui 3’ has been changed. Now this film will not be released as ‘Aashiqui 3’, but as ‘Tu Aashiqui Hai’. According to reports, the film ‘Tu Aashiqui Hai’ is not the sequel to the ‘Aashiqui’ series. Yes, now it is rumored that this film is not the third part of ‘Aashiqui’, but the actor’s new film.
The report claims that its name is completely different and the story is also different. The film is based on the 1981 film ‘Basera’, which starred Shashi Kapoor, Rakhi and Rekha. The shooting of the film will start later this year. Trupti and Karthik will play lead roles in the film. It is also rumored that the makers are yet to select another actress for the film. However, this news has not been officially confirmed by the manufacturers yet.
Talking about Kartik Aryan’s upcoming films, he will next be seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. Recently, along with the release date of the film, Kartik also confirmed the return of Vidya Balan to the franchise. This film will be released on the occasion of Diwali. Apart from ‘Tu Aashiqui Hai’, Karthik also has Kabir Khan’s film ‘Chandu Champion’, the shooting of which he has completed.
