Sai Dharam Tej’s Fim ‘Ganja Shankar’ In Trouble

Read Time:1 Minute, 16 Second

South superstar Sai Dharam Tej entertained the audience a lot with ‘Virupaksha’. After the blockbuster success of the film, the actor announced his new film ‘Ganja Shankar’, which is being directed by Sampath Nandy. Now this actor’s film is in trouble. Recently the film has suffered a big setback. A legal notice has been sent to the makers of the film regarding its title and story.

In fact, the Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau issued a notice to the makers, urging them to change both the title and story of the film. It has been said that the film’s title and its story glorify drug consumption and sale. It was also said that if the manufacturers did not make the suggested changes, they would have to suffer negative consequences. Punitive action may be taken against them under NDPS Act.

TSNAB director Sandeep Shandilya said the film’s portrayal of the hero being involved in the ganja trade, glorifying his actions and the use of the term ‘Ganja Shankar’ will have a harmful impact on the audience, especially young people and students. We expect you to avoid placing any such scene in your film ‘Ganja Shankar’ where consumption, sale, smuggling and supply of the drug Ganja is glorified. You should also avoid promoting it, which has a negative impact on the younger generation.

Producer Naga Vamsi is producing the film in association with Sai Dharam Tej under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Cecirolio has been selected as the music director for the film.
