These days Lokesh Kanagaraj is in the news for his film ‘Leo’. Thalapathy Vijay has played the lead role in the film. Film producer and director Anurag Kashyap has also made a cameo in ‘Leo’. ‘Leo’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj now talked about the film. He also revealed how Anurag’s cameo came into the film. He said that Anurag was very happy to do a cameo in the film.
In a recent interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that it was my assistant who showed me Anurag’s interview, in which he said that he wanted to work in LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). I was on a shoot. I called Anurag sir and said that this is a small role, if he is ready to do it then it would be good. He said absolutely and he came to Chennai.
He further said that only after that when I told Vijay about the plan, the actor said what are you doing with him. is that all right? Then on the set he talked to Anurag sir and asked him what was he doing? But Anurag sir was happy doing that scene. He was a big fan of graphic novels and we talked about them all. He stayed there only for two to three hours. Before leaving he talked to the direction team. He told us that he is glad that he shared his wish in an interview and it has now been fulfilled.
Anurag Kashyap made a special appearance as Daniel in ‘Leo’. He is killed by Leo. The cameo only lasted a few minutes. ‘Leo’ is part of LCU.
