After the immense success of Gadar 2, people are eagerly waiting for Sunny Deol’s film Lahore 1947. Rajkumar Santoshi is going to direct the film. At the same time, it is being made under the banner of Aamir Khan’s production house. The three legends have come together for a film for the first time. Now a new information has come to light regarding this film. According to media reports, Sunny is completely ready for the shooting of this film.
If reports are to be believed, the set making work of the film is in progress and its shooting is expected to start from next week. A media report quoted a source as saying that director Rajkumar Santoshi has a special vision for the film and he has set up a refugee camp to film the scene at Vrindavan Shooting Studio in Mud Island.
Talking about this, Santoshi had called it a dream team. Also, he had said, “For this big budget film, I could not think of anyone other than AR Rahman as the composer, he is one of the top composers in the world at the moment. Along with Javed Akhtar I have had a great relationship over the years. It’s been a pleasure to have him for this project as a lyricist. It’s truly a dream team. It’s rare to have an entire cast coming together for a film like this. All positivity. We will start shooting the film very soon.”
During this conversation, Santoshi had described ‘Lahore 1947’ as one of the most special films of her career. Taking the matter further, he had said, “This is a reunion of the most talented people. I had worked with Aamir in Andaz Apna Apna. This time he is working as a producer of the film. On the other hand, Sunny Deol Together we have made great films like Ghayal, Damini and Ghatak.
