Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has collected 25.75 crores on the second day. After lagging behind on the first day, the film has caught the pace of earning on the second day. Now, if the figures of two days are mixed, then the total earning of the film has become Rs 41.56 crore.

However, if we look at the record of Salman’s last few releases on Eid, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is far behind. Holidays are coming to an end so it will be really interesting to see how the film fares in the coming working days.

Sharing the latest collection of the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, ‘Salman Khan’s stardom was fully visible on the second day. The first day collection in the metro city was quite worrying. But seeing the earnings of the second day, the investors would have got a lot of relief. The film has shown tremendous performance on the second day in populated areas. In the coming times, the film can continue to earn like this at these places.

Manoj Desai, owner of Gaiety Galaxy Theatre, said, “On the day of Eid i.e. on Saturday, both our theaters were 100 per cent full. 2000 public crossed here. The same number were present outside as well. Maratha Mandir has 1107 seats. There 100 percent public came to watch the film in all the three shows on Saturday. Sunday has also got 100 per cent occupancy.

Manoj further says, ‘The public has got used to the action-oriented Salman. So in that sense it’s going up and down a bit here. Although there is family emotion in the film. In such a situation, the fate of the film will be decided beyond the public’s mouth publicity. How much the rest of the film’s collection will cross, people will be able to know by Tuesday.

The film has also achieved a boom in the outskirts of Mumbai. Exhibitor Vivek Chauhan, associated with theaters in many important areas of North India including Bihar, confirms this. He told, ‘Tickets are sold out in theaters in Bihar. Sunday’s trend is going to be better than Eid. The trend of single and multiplex is looking better regarding the film.

Raj Bansal, the distributor and exhibitor of Jaipur and surrounding areas shares the trend of the people regarding the film. Raj says, “In the Raj Mandir cinema hall, the occupancy on the first day was 45 per cent. On the second day i.e. Eid, 55 per cent seats were full. People only said that there was a slight deficiency in writing and direction. Although the jump happened on the second day of release.

Talking about Salman’s last 8 films released on the occasion of Eid, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has been left behind. Except for the film Dabangg released in 2010, all the films released on Eid had a first day collection of more than 20 crores.
