TV actor Apurva Agnihotri Agnihotri recently talked about his film Pardes, in which actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Mahima Chaudhary and Amrish Puri worked with him. During the conversation, Apurva Agnihotri told that Shahrukh Khan had helped him a lot on the sets during the shooting. Apart from this, Apurva Agnihotri talked about his short career in films and told that perhaps due to his nature, he did not get much work in films.
In an interview given to Siddharth Kanan, Apurva Agnihotri told that he was cleared from the beginning that this film is not his. Apurva Agnihotri said- ‘When Subhash ji called, he told me that Pardes is completely Shah Rukh and Mahima’s film. However, he also said that I am introducing another new character. If you do well, you might emerge as the surprise package of the film.
Praising Shah Rukh Khan, Apurva Agnihotri told that he used to behave very calm and nice with the people on the sets. Despite knowing that he is the main lead of the film, he never made anyone feel that way.
Sharing the story of the first meeting with Shahrukh, Apurva Agnihotri said – He was always surrounded by 15-20 people. When I first met him, he was wearing a Tommy Hilfiger shirt, which he wore every other day. When I reached, he got up and shook my hand and said- ‘Hi I am Shahrukh.’ This was my first conversation with him.
After Pardes, Apurva Agnihotri Agnihotri appeared in very few films. When he was questioned about this, Apurva Agnihotri said – There could be many reasons for this, but I think the reason for this was my nature. If you want to be successful in the film industry, then you are not introvert and calm. Can be You have to market yourself, you have to get out of your zone. I could not. I can’t party every day and butter people.
