Bollywood director Karan Johar’s film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is going to release in theaters on July 28. The film has recovered 90% of its budget before its release. If reports are to be believed, Rs 18 crores have been spent on the print and publicity of this film made in a budget of Rs 160 crores. In such a situation, the total cost of the film is 178 crores.
The film has so far earned 80 crores from digital rights and 50 crores from satellite rights. Apart from this, the makers have sold its music rights for Rs 30 crore. Including all these, till now Rs 160 crore has been recovered. If seen in this way, Rocky and Rani’s love story is in a safe situation at the box office.
The makers have so far released three songs from the film ‘Tum Kya Miley’, ‘Jhumka’ and ‘Ve Kamaliya’. On Monday, the makers will release its fourth song ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’. The song has been shot on Ranveer and Alia in the backdrop of Durga Puja.
The censor board has also given a U/A certificate to this film of 2 hours 48 minutes. The board has made a total of 5 changes while making changes in some words along with cutting down on abuses.
Actors like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi will be seen in this film, which is going to be released in theaters on July 28. This film is the 7th film made under the direction of Karan Johar. Recently he has completed 25 years in the film maker industry.
