The film ‘Hanuman’ directed by Prashant Verma and starring Teja Sajja is performing well at the box office. The film has crossed the 100 crore mark worldwide. In the end credits of this film, the makers have announced its sequel ‘Jai Hanuman’.
It is heard that the makers have approached South superstar Ram Charan for this second part of ‘Hanuman’, ‘Jai Hanuman’. The makers want him to play the role of Shriram in the film. However, till now no confirmation has come out in this matter neither from the makers nor from Ram Charan’s team. Ram Charan has earlier been seen in the avatar of Ram in the superhit film ‘RRR’.
The film is the first part of Hanuman Prashant’s cinematic universe. The director will further introduce 12 superheroes through 20 stories under this universe. The second installment of this universe will be ‘Adheera’. Kalyan, son of South’s famous producer DVV Danayya, will debut with this film.
34 year old Prashant is considered one of the young and ambitious directors of Tollywood. He made his debut with the film ‘Awe’ released in 2018. Along with directing it, Prashant also wrote its story. This film won the National Film Award in two categories. After this Prashant made films like Kalki, Zombie Reddy and Aadhavam.
