Only a few days are left for the release of the film ‘Lal Salaam’ directed by superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya. This film will hit the screens next month. Recently, the makers have released the trailer of the film, which is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Vikrant and Vishnu are in lead roles in this film. Rajinikanth will also be seen in a cameo role in his daughter’s film.
The trailer was released in Tamil language which revolves around the themes of religion, politics and power along with cricket drama. In the film, lead actors Vikrant and Vishnu Vishal are seen in the role of cricketers. A glimpse of veteran cricketer Kapil Dev is also seen in the trailer. Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the film is produced by Lyca Productions and presented by A Subaskaran.
Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of Moideen Bhai in the film and according to the first poster, the film will revolve around cricket and friendship. The music of the film has been composed by Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. It will be released in theaters in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The production of the film began in March last year and shooting took place in Mumbai, Chennai and Puducherry. Last year, a picture of Rajinikanth and Kapil Dev from the sets had also surfaced online and in his post the actor had said that it was his good fortune to work with the great cricketer.
The film is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and is set to release on the big screens on February 9, 2024. The upcoming sports drama was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on the occasion of Pongal. Fans are also eagerly waiting for the release of the film.
