Rajat Bedi Open Up Why He Left The Industry

Bollywood Actor Rajat Bedi was a familiar name in films in the early 2000s. After working in about 40 films, he suddenly disappeared from the industry. Now in a recent interview, he has talked about the reasons due to which he stopped doing films.

Rajat said that he had a very powerful character in the film Koi Mil Gaya. However, when the film was released, many of his scenes were cut. Rajat also talked about the financial problems arising in this interview.

Rajat said that he was doing films but was not able to earn money from them. What happened once that a producer gave him the amount of fees in check but that check bounced. Rajat Bedi recently appeared in Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna’s talk show. He told that after being in the industry, he had gone into a lot of depression. For this reason, he left India and settled in Canada.

When Rajat was asked the reason for his depression, he said – Even after the hit of Koi Mil Gaya, I did not get any benefit. I had a lot of scenes with Preity Zinta and Hrithik Roshan in the film. After the final cut, many of my scenes were cut.

After that I was doing a film with Sunny Deol. All the checks I got after the film bounced. I thought I would never be able to move forward like this. I was also getting films, name and fame but was not getting money. I had to run the house too. I had many friends who were running two thousand crore companies at that time.

Rajat Bedi made his own identity by playing the role of a villain in Hindi cinema. He used to live in negative character in every film. Even in Koi Mil Gaya, he had a negative character of ‘Raj Saxena’. He worked in many big films like International Khiladi, Indian and Jani Dushman.
